Finance is responsible for the financial, management, and regulatory reporting for North America. The group ensures proper policies and procedures are in place governing the entire reporting process, including a budget, profit & loss, balance sheet, economic capital, MT packages, and other reporting requirements. This position also plays an integral role with the businesses and support areas as an advisor, liaison, and process innovator in a business control function.

The rapid developments in digitization offer the CFO domain plenty of opportunities to provide valuable insights to our stakeholders, using state-of-the-art management information. The CFO domain has a strong ambition to build the management information of the future and feed this knowledge into strategic developments in management reporting, dashboarding, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new and maintain existing Power BI reports/dashboards that support the business.
  • Build new and maintain existing Power BI data models including creating hierarchies, calculated measures/columns, and Row Level Security (RLS).
  • Build new and maintain existing Power BI dataflows.
  • Build new and maintain existing Excel models using Power Query.
  • Create and maintain documentation and mappings supporting all produced content (e.g. data models, dataflows, Excel models, reports, etc.)
  • Support the creation of management reports in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Support and take ownership of other Management Accounting activities including data mapping and cost allocations.
  • Act as partner and advisor to business controllers, the businesses, and support areas.
  • Participate in special projects and ongoing automation enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • While this job will exclusively use tools from the Microsoft Power Platform, experience with this toolset is not required. We’re more concerned with finding an individual who has demonstrated the ability to be proactive and has a learning mindset with BI tools and topics.
  • Ability to work well with individuals remotely via email, phone, and Skype.
  • Ability to professionally interact regularly with senior management.
  • Ability to rapidly learn on the job from coworkers, external sources, and self-teaching.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, self-starter, and self-manager.
  • Experience building reports with BI tools including, but not limited to Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.
  • Experience prepping data with either enterprise or self-service data integration tools including, but not limited to, Power BI Dataflows/Power Query, Alteryx, Informatica, SSIS, etc.
  • Knowledge of basic data modeling principles.

Desirable:

  • Accounting/Finance conceptual knowledge.
  • Knowledge of financial and management accounting systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft’s self-service BI tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
  • General knowledge of SQL.
  • General knowledge of VBA.
  • Finance industry experience.
  • Bachelors in business (including but not limited to: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics), IT (e.g. CompSci), or relevant work experience.

Essential:

  • 2-5 years in a reporting function.
