As a founding engineer with Utopia, you will help build + layout our engineering foundation and craft our product backbone. If you’re interested in championing technological leadership in the web3 space, we’d love for you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the initial scoping of product requirements for new features and products
- Developing products from designs and specifications to live deployments.
- Build out new features and products with the product team.
- Help address customer feature requests
- Build out prospective integrations with partners and protocols
- Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like React, Typescript, and GraphQL
Requirements:
- Experience with Javascript + front-end frameworks such as React.
- 3+ years development experience using NodeJS, Express, NextJS, or similar
- Solid experience architecting solutions (experience in different architecture layers and components) through multiple frameworks
- Proficiency with Git
- A good understanding of CI/CD
Nice to Have:
- Hackathon experience or competitive programming experience
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
- 1-3+ years full-time software engineering experience
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
- Experience writing smart contracts or building
- Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.
