The Information Technology Business Consultant position reports to the IT System Transformation team. This team is responsible for challenging legacy system norms, evaluating new technologies and aggressively pushing boundaries to provide automated service to our residential and business customers. This role has a primary focus on supporting and enhancing the Kinetic Salesforce Quote to Cash system stack. In this position you will serve as a liaison for the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new applications. You will manage or support multiple large projects by tracking user stories, resources, and providing guidance to personnel as needed. Other duties will include testing for application software changes, updates and/or new releases.
Responsibilities:
The Information Technology Business Consultant is responsible for the following: provides support for client applications and serves as a liaison for the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new, or enhanced systems; manages multiple large or regional projects, products, and clients by tracking resources, prioritizing projects, and providing guidance to personnel as needed; creates test plans and conducts testing for applications software changes, updates and/or new releases; evaluates and documents the performance of tested software and the quality testing process to provide feedback to project team and management for current and future reference; performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have working knowledge of Agile methodology. Ability to write user stories and assist with grooming backlogs for the development team is desired.
- Strong communication skills required, able to work with multiple groups, self-starter, able to work independently, provide prompt and succinct status reports, meet deadlines and project due dates. Strong working knowledge of telecommunications is required. Knowledge of Salesforce development and configurations is desired. Salesforce admin certification is a plus. Knowledge of Kinetic products, customer ordering patterns, and sales processes is a plus.
