Description:
We are seeking a talented individual for a Payment Integrity/Revenue cycle Project Manager position. The Project Manager will lead multiple client engagements through all aspects of the delivery lifecycle following defined implementation processes including leading kick off meetings, managing program design, implementation, project planning, and ongoing operations. Solid experience in translating and executing technical client business needs into concrete goals and solutions is required. Traditional project management experience, a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic, a solid technical background, exceptional organization skills and the ability to multi-task with a devotion to excellent client management are critically important. Excellent communication skills at all levels are a must and the ability to effectively lead a diverse team is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully plan, lead and facilitate meetings with all levels of client and internal project stakeholders thereby establishing themselves as the technical and business project leader, or, Subject Matter Expert for all program needs
- Proactively monitor, evaluate and report on program performance and work with internal teams to identify areas for solution enhancement; participate in regular business reviews with key client stakeholders
- Assume full deliverable accountability from the solutions design and documentation through final delivery and outcomes presentations
- Communicate project implementation options that affect schedule, quality and risk to stakeholders, as well as offer recommendations based on these elements
- Participate throughout a project’s quality assurance cycle to ensure that the final product meets the expectations of the original project requirements
- Closely monitor scope and change requests thereby preventing unapproved requirement modifications
- Monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status, and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation
- Coordinate go-live activities both internally and externally and support client testing and releases, as needed
- Traffic and coordinate support requests to appropriate members of the team for fulfillment
- Monitor, anticipate and troubleshoot issues within engineering teams and follow through with the technical and client teams to resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent
- 3-5 years of client facing project management experience of which 2+ years’ experience in technology and/or healthcare is preferred
- Extensive experience monitoring and troubleshooting complex technical solutions while managing client’s change requests and inquiries
- Proven ability and aptitude to learn new technologies and tools and work with technical teams of varying abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple small-to-medium scale projects with a combined internal team of 3-10 team members as well as client stakeholders
- Excellent communications skills are required
- Expertise in program design and documentation of functional/technical specifications
- A basic knowledge of AGILE, SCRUM and Waterfall delivery methodologies is useful
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, compliance
- Partners effectively cross-organizationally
- PMP, Six Sigma or similar Certification desired
