Responsibilities:

  • Design rich, mobile experiences for the iOS and Android platforms supporting phones, tablets and wearables
  • Create simple, intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions
  • Work closely with the UX lead to execute the overall strategic product vision. Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design from ideation, to prototyping, and final production.
  • Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs
  • Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
  • Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem
  • Work closely with the larger UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
  • Understand the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients
  • Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet company compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience designing native mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Experience with design systems
  • You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
  • You have excellent skills in Figma
  • You’ve spent 2+ years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
  • You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and value being on a diverse team that you can bounce ideas off of, get critical feedback from, and unite with to mature design thinking within a large organization
  • You practice active listening and contribute in group situations (i.e. brainstorms, audits, critiques, whiteboard sessions, etc.)
  • You get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles
  • You have a relentless desire to validate assumptions and uncover a problems root cause by testing, learning, and iterating
  • You have a knack for balancing user goals, technology needs and business objectives and can clearly explain the rationale for your designs and how they achieve both
  • You constantly seek opportunities to evangelize and promote design thinking in a large organization
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in design or related field
